Our Academic Vision

To prepare for the future of medicine, medical professionals must be trained as problem solvers and critical thinkers. These future leaders will need to have a deep understanding of emerging technologies, health systems, entrepreneurship, diversity principles, and ethics. At Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine, we have threaded these topics throughout our curriculum.

KansasCOM aims to be instrumental in helping to increase health care resources for underserved communities across Kansas and beyond. Our curriculum integrates early clinical experiences, giving students the opportunity to work with patients within their first year of studies.

KansasCOM graduates will be prepared to lead the next generation of osteopathic health care professionals in compassionate and integrated health care practice, able to address the needs of diverse communities everywhere.
